Mary Kay Crowley, a former R.N., has been developing
her artistic gifts for nearly three decades.
She began her artistic journey creating pen
and ink drawings of homes for friends; and
together with whimsical drawings for children’s
rooms, found a following who pressed her to expand
her offerings. Still not quite believing that she
was an artist, she took to painting garden signs
and cupboards on wood; these were marketed throughout
the U.S. Finally, in 2001 Mary Kay decided that it
was time to replace wood with canvas and become a “real artist”.
And with over 200 original pieces
to date, it would appear that she has succeeded.
Mary Kay’s work has been shown at the Laguna Beach
Art-A-Fair, a juried exhibition. Her works have been
used for more than twenty covers of the Country Register,
a national marketing publication for the gift
trade and have been the subject of a feature article in Romantic Homes
magazine. Mary Kay’s works are now sold as giclee prints throughout the U.S. .
Mary Kay’s body of work encompass those subjects and
themes which revolve around the beauty of nature; the
calming effect of the seashore; creating scenes in
and around the home which allow her to relax or look
forward to having friends join her. Each giclee print
of her work is reproduced with archival inks for longevity
and is hand finished and signed by Mary Kay. Each image
is available in nearly any size desired for your home
