LIGHTHOUSES

Practically speaking, a lighthouse is a beacon for the lost seafarer, but metaphorically serves as a reminder of the safety and comport we seek in a familiar land, a solid foundation and a home. Mary Kay Crowley’s “Lighthouses” are inspired by real and imagined lighthouses from all over the American landscape- many of which she visited in person. Each lighthouse has its own story.
